Terms of service

These terms apply to Kizmo's websites and services. By using them you agree to these terms.

The free tools

The generator and safety checker are free to use, including commercially, with no account. Codes you generate are yours. The safety checker gives an automated assessment only; it cannot guarantee that any website is safe.

Accounts and dynamic codes

You are responsible for the destinations your codes point to and for keeping your login secure. You must not use Kizmo for phishing, malware, fraud, harassment, illegal content, or to impersonate another business.

The never-hostage guarantee

The commitments on our guarantee page form part of these terms. In particular, a dynamic code keeps redirecting to its last destination regardless of your plan or payment status. We may disable a code only when you pause or delete it, when our safety review confirms abuse, or when required by law.

Safety review

We may review and disable codes reported or detected as harmful. Disabled codes show a warning page, and we log every such action.

Paid plans

Kizmo offers a Free plan and paid plans listed on the pricing page. Your first paid plan starts with a 7-day free trial that needs a card; you are charged when the trial ends unless you cancel first, and we email you 2 days before. There is one free trial per customer: if you have had a trial or paid plan before, including on a deleted account with the same email address, a new paid plan is charged from the start. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each monthly or annual period until cancelled; we email you 7 days before each annual renewal. You can cancel any time from the Billing page and keep paid features until the end of the period you paid for. Payments are processed by Creem, our merchant of record, which also handles sales tax and invoices. We will give at least 30 days' notice before changing the price of an existing subscription. Whatever your plan, codes you created keep redirecting as described in the never-hostage guarantee.

Cancellation

Cancel from Billing in the dashboard or from the billing portal linked there. Cancelling a trial ends it immediately and you are not charged. Cancelling a paid plan stops the next renewal; paid features stay on until the end of the current period, then your account moves to the Free plan.

Refunds

If you were charged for a renewal you didn't intend, or the service didn't work as described, email support@kizmo.io within 14 days of the charge and we will refund it in full. Refunds are issued by Creem to the original payment method. After 14 days, cancelling stops future charges but the current period is not refunded, except where the law requires it.

Support

We answer requests sent to support@kizmo.io within 3 business days.

Liability

Kizmo is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses or for losses caused by third parties, such as a sticker placed over your code. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes

We will email account holders about material changes at least 30 days before they take effect.
